Introduction

If you didn’t know, bottled water with PFAS is a big deal. PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are chemicals that you can find in drinking water, and they can make people sick. They’re in lots of things like food wrappers, pots, and sometimes even makeup. Lately, people are worried about bottled water with PFAS, wondering which ones are safe to drink.

Here’s a list of bottled water with PFAS and bottled water without PFAS. Many brands don’t check for PFAS, so some of this info might be old. Oasis is checking all the bottled water with PFAS and will update the list when we know more

Bottled Waters with PFAS

Consumer Reports tested 47 bottled waters and found that 43 of them contained detectable levels of PFAS. Another study by led by Johns Hopkins University researchers, detected PFAS substances in 39 out of more than 100 bottled waters tested. Even more recenlty the EPA announced at least 33% of water systems tested contained PFAS.

This report lists many other brands as without PFAS but we have not verified this information.

Conclusion

The fact is most brands don’t test for PFAS and or don’t share these reports so it’s difficult to know for sure which waters don’t contain PFAS without testing each one.
