Up until the last few years, it proved very difficult to find clean, healthy, high protein snacks where we didn’t have to compromise on flavor. It was impossible to find healthy snacks without soy, cane sugar, or other preservatives that we were trying to avoid. Needless to say, when label watching for allergy concerns, we were coming up short—and hungry. Luckily my husband is an amazing self-taught home cook, so we decided to make our own.
Since then, we’ve been passionately dedicated to making a product that is truly Paleo, but more importantly, that tastes delicious. There are plenty of healthy jerky brands out there, but they all tasted “healthy”. We truly believe it’s our unparalleled taste and texture that set us apart, not to mention our certifications. We’re confident that when people say they don’t like jerky, they’ve just never tried ours.

Allergy friendly
We are 100% soy-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, wheat-free, egg-free, peanut-free, fish-free and tree nut-free. Because we know how hard it is to find healthy, delicious snacks—let alone ones that are allergy-friendly. We take food allergies seriously. We want to make sure you have peace of mind with every bite.
Real Ingredients
We believe in jerky the way it was supposed to be made. Real ingredients, no additives, and made with authentic smoke. Where we get our ingredients from is just as important to us. Our organic spices come from all over the world, our beef comes from family-owned New Zealand farms that are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished-always, and our jerky is made proudly (with love) in Chicago.
Unparalleled Flavor
We don’t believe in smoke and mirrors, but we do believe in cherry wood smoke. That’s where most of the flavor comes from. All smoke aside, we use lots of other unique ingredients to make this unlike any jerky you’ve ever tried. Our *secret* blend of spices also happens to make the meat extremely tender. No more jaw-breaking jerky.

We know good things in life take time- good jerky included. So rest easy knowing this snack was cooked sloooowly in small batches, without any preservatives or additives.
PREVAILing Influence
We understand that getting allergy-free food can be tough. That’s why we’ve partnered with Food Pantries that focus in special diets like the Food Equality Initiative, so that the people that need it most are getting real allergy-friendly food. We’ve also partnered with a local Chicago Charity that teaches children how to give back to their community one project at a time.
Why Jerky?
Some of you may be wondering why we’d start a 100% grass fed beef jerky company. Why not some other snack that may be easier to make and easier to manage? There are a lot of answers to this question, but the bottom line for us is that allergy free beef jerky is something that nearly everyone can enjoy both with regards to its flavor and its other benefits. A few examples include:
- On the Go – Jerky is an amazing high protein snack. You can pack it in a bag and enjoy it just about everywhere. It’s not going to melt or leak and it’s not going to be a mess to eat. A healthy snack food doesn’t get more convenient than that.
- Longevity – We alluded to it above, but one of the benefits of owning a 100% grass fed beef jerky company is that we know we’re providing our customers with a healthy snack that’s going to last. Does beef jerky last forever? No, it does have a shelf life, but that shelf life is a lot longer than just about anything else out there.
- Nutrition – Another aspect of owning a 100% grass fed beef jerky company that we enjoy is that we’re providing food that packs a wallop when it comes to nutrition. Obviously, you get a big dose of protein with every snack, but you’ll also be consuming healthy substances such as Vitamin B12.
