Why we do it

Spira Kind believe in supporting small-scale artisanal farmers, this sets them apart from the rest. They consider their methods yield a more superior product compared to commercial methods. At SpiraKind, they work closely with each farmer to ensure they are set up for success. Integrating with their communities to provide employment and education through the farmers. Each farmer they work with is trained with special aquaculture practices to ensure the highest quality product.

Working so closely with their farmers ensures that they are able to play their part in the farmer’s communities and in protecting the earth. Small scale artisanal aqua-farming has minimal impact on the environment. A low impact farming method for spirulina that is completely artisanal. From growing to harvesting and then to drying the Spirulina, the practices are aimed at protecting the earth in a sustainable way. Securing the future for this superfood and the generations to come
