Who we are

Golden Ratio takes everything you love about coffee and makes it better. We roast our beans at lower temperatures to create a smooth “tea-like” coffee, golden in color, to naturally perk up your day.
We also didn’t believe it was possible. During a trip to Seattle, Golden Ratio’s founder Clark discovered “low-roast coffee,” an incredibly light, low acid brew that didn’t cause any of the stomach discomfort spurred by acidic black coffee.
Once Clark had tasted gold, he knew he’d never be able to return to his classic cup of joe. Since this low-roast coffee was (and still is) very difficult to source, his only option was to make it for himself. Thus began the inception of gold coffee and Golden Ratio.

 

 

What sets us apart

THE BEST LOW ACID COFFEE ON THE MARKET. PERIOD.

A surprisingly high percentage of people suffer from stomach discomfort and acid reflux after drinking regular coffee.
As coffee is roasted, the naturally occurring antioxidants in the green coffee bean break down to form quinic acids responsible for the sour stomach feeling that comes with dark roast coffee.
Our beans are roasted much lighter than even a “light roast” or “blonde roast.” They, therefore, have deficient levels of this bothersome acid.
