Who we are
Atina Foods produce holistic food based on traditional knowledge systems using local produce when available. We follow the sacred wisdom of the ancients, that food is medicine and medicine is food. Atina Foods began in 2015 by married team, Carrie Dashow and Suresh Pillai, in Catskill, New York. In a span of five years they have successfully developed and marketed their uniquely delicious products to both food connoisseurs and novices alike. Proudly making simple dishes complex and amazingly delicious with an added health boost, on plates throughout New York and beyond!

What we do

Atina Food’s line of condiments are designed to bring out the best taste in food, helping you to Eat The Food That’s Good For You!  Using whole ingredients, spices, roots, fruits and herbs, nothing is pre-processed. Our condiments are broken up into two categories (plus a few anomalies); 1. Herbal Jams, translated from the traditional Ayurvedic word Leyham, a medicinal concoction of fruits, roots, spices and herbs preserved in Jaggery, an unrefined raw sugar cane from India. 2. Lacto-fermented probiotic rich Pickles or Ferments, made with only salt (no vinegar, no water) and special spice combinations. In Kerala, we call these, Upillitathy, meaning vegetables in salt.

Our products range consists of all natural jarred foods, supplemented with snacks and other edibles.
